Spanish exports to South America 2007-2011

Up over 3 billion euros over the period, goods sold in the South American market were led by the mystery 'other goods' sub-sector, followed by chemicals and a range of capital goods. 17 of 19 groups were positive.

A real curiosity, again as in the Far East, is the export of gas from Spain. From 0 in 2007 to 81 million euros in '11, through August of this year it has already reached 112 million.

Looking at percentages, total exports inscreased by 76 percent. At the front of the pack are 'other goods', followed by minerals, various food products and transportation equipment.
