Meanwhile, back in the real world
Something to think about when considering if France, being core Europe, would actually be interested in subscribing to the turbo-charged currency that would be the result of the casting off of the periphery...
Also, given how much money their banks are owed in Euros, they'd spend their first trillion SuperEuros rescuing their own banks.
The other strange thing is if you go back just a couple years, you read The Economist talking about Germany as the "sick man of Europe" and now everyone treats Germany as invicible...
Speaking of German power, some days ago German TV had a program with the bottomline "Greece at home, our municipalities are going bust" (my wording, but their's was similar).
